MemoryPhasesMy research is concerned with the molecular mechanisms
underlying learning and memory.mttbw
In particular, I am interested in the formation of memories of varying durations.  My work is concerned with unfolding the timeline of molecular events  which occurs as an organism learns about their sensory environment and how the coordinated sequence of molecular events governs how information is represented and stored.  I use odor learning by the olfactory system to study the molecular and structural changes that mediate memory formation and persistence.  At present, my work focuses, specifically, on molecular processes involved in long-term memory persistence of incremental, reward-based learning.
