We use CED data acquisition hardware and its Spike2 software for some of our electrophysiological work.  Spike2 has a rich scripting language and can interact with Matlab directly and with other software packages (including Barst) via its Listener/Talker interfaces.  Below are will be some Spike2 scripts (and other scripts for use with Spike2) that we have written for use in the lab, including the FENRIS system for administering trial-based, self-documenting electrophysiological experiments with embedded odor and/or electrical stimulation.
