Program in Neuroscience

Cornell University has neuroscientists (faculty, postdocs, students) spread around campus in a multitude of departments, including Neurobiology & Behavior, Psychology, Computational Biology, Human Development, Food Science, Applied Math, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Applied & Engineering Physics.  The Program in Neuroscience is our effort to bring these research groups together for intellectual breadth, technical cross-training, and social events.


Behavioral, Computational, and Systems Neuroscience (BCS) journal club

Weekly journal club on Tuesdays, 11:45 – 1:00, in Uris 205.  Our recent themes have included active sensation, assessing and comparing methods of inference regarding neural activity, neural representations, mechanisms of gamma oscillations, and attention.  Additional neuroscience-related journal clubs are listed on the Program in Neuroscience Seminars page, and still more are associated with the fields listed above.
